21 Things I learned (Part 2)

3. Laughter is definitely the best medicine.

Yes as the famous saying goes, it’s totally the best cure for every lonely soul. It may not take all your pains away, but it can lessen the hurt. No one's suppose to live and die alone. We all need people to get goofy with. Funny friends to make you laugh your loudest during your loneliest days. Family to uplift you when you're down. And you got to share the laughter to others too! That's why when I feel tired and stressed from my busy routine on weekdays. I make the most of it on weekends. I make sure to watch a comedy movie or see a friend I can laugh with. Make sure to give that best laugh every waking day. You'll live longer!


4. "The pain goes away sooner than you think."

This line is from one of my favorite movies "My Sassy Girl". The movie is a bout a girl who lost her boyfriend because of an accident she thought was her fault. She felt like living without her boyfriend, her life was pointless. She would drink, cry and feel the pain everyday. Until she learned to live with it. To live again without the pain anymore. I've gone through my worst heartache last year, yes at this very young age! My story was something that could break your heart if you'll listen to every detail of it. I kinda felt like the girl in the movie but I also learned that letting go makes you understand more. It opens up your mind and soul and heals the wound. I learned to accept and go on. For sure, it will all get better in time.


5. You're gonna miss things you thought you wont.

Things and people you deal with your daily lifestyle may seem like they're never going away. The office work you used to hate because it gives you stress are the things you'll miss to do when you get bored. The office mate who loves to irritate you, you'll surprisingly miss him when he resigns. Lets not take things for granted and think that they'll always be there. Nothing is permanent in this world. You'll surely hate the feeling of missing someone or something so bad because you didn't give them enough appreciation when you still can and when they needed it the most.

I just found out that my blog title is a song! When I started blogging in wordpress, I didn't search for a title on the web, Anywhere is Paradise just randomly entered my mind. And I felt happy knowing this song is so much of how I define my blog title. Read the lyrics and listen to the song. Very inspiring!

TwenTEEN One Celebrations!

So I'm officially TwenTEEN one now. Four celebrations this year! Wow. Here goes:

1. A treat to my former officemates who became really good friends of mine. We've been together every day in the office for almost two years which made our bonding strong. At Saturday night, we had dinner at Cocolime, a restaurant owned by a Korean with lots of dishes to offer. I recommend that place if you guys want to have a good meal and the ambience is so welcoming. Then we had some beer at Fuze Bar, a new bar which is quite small but offers a relaxing mood . Lots of story updates to tell and laughters to share. We definitely missed one another so much!















2. Family dinner at Shakeys! on Sunday night. It's a newly opened branch here in SBMA so everyone was excited to try it. It's a famous pizza restaurant chain based in the U.S. and has 500 stores globally but we don't get to eat there often because here in the Philippines, it's branches are mostly in Manila.

3. And who wouldn't wish for a BEERday? On Monday night after work, we had a celebration at Gerry's Grill. Crispypata and Sisig, my fave "pulutan" of all time! FUN!

4. On Tuesday, my real birthday, bf came over to have a dinner with me. Yey! Though it was only for an hour because he needs to catch the last bus trip to get home, it was special as always. Wee! I looked so stress!

For a best celebration this year, I will be watching the Black Eyed Peas concert in MOA on October 25 with my bestfriend Myrted of Love Skin Best. Her birthday was last 19 and mine was 18 so we decided to celebrate together! EXCITED!!! For upcoming birthday celebrants, HAVE A BLAST!

21 Things I Learned (Part 1)

1. Don’t rush!
For one I had this great job. Probably the best one, best officemates and most fun work environment I’ve experienced. Then I felt sick of it after almost 2 years of stay. I felt like I’ve been stuck in one place for a long time. I wanted a different one, a new job. So I looked for something I thought would be better. Then after the failure of my attempted overseas job, I landed somewhere I least expected. A new company but lesser salary and entry level position only. See because of wanting something better, I lost the best one I already have. So with time, I learned that I shouldn’t rush on my career. I’m this girl with so much dreams for her career but I won’t get there overnight. W e should all go through a step-by-step process. And I know I’ll get there soon.

2. Share your blessings!

I love spending for others. I’m not rich but I can say I’m earning bigger now and I feel better when I share it to people I love. I love the smile on their faces when they’re full of the food I bought. It's not the feeling of being proud because you're the one whose capable of spending, but it's making them happy in simple ways. Buy yourself a fancy dress and you feel pretty, buy your sibling a shirt he's dying to have and you'll feel fullfilled! Agree? Share!

BTW, it's my DAY today! YEHEY! I just turned TwenTEEN one this morning! Thanks God for the wonderful 21 years! I will be posting about my birthday celebrations this week. Celebration with former officemates last Saturday, with family last Sunday, with officemates last night and with special someone tonight. =)

My 21st birthday is coming up very very soon. Countdown started on the first day of the month. Wee! I'm turning 21 this year, I'm really on twenty something now. Haha.
